Angela Vincent
Angela is a yoga instructor, birth doula and social worker.
Angela is in complete awe of the human capacity to courageously and creatively step into life. She believes in the power of community building and the wisdom that ignites through yoga and self inquiry. Angela invites students to bring curiosity to their yoga mats. Through creative sequencing and attention to breath, she creates a safe space for students to explore their edges and listen deeply. She teaches vinyasa (infused with wisdom from the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions), gentle yoga and prenatal yoga. Her classes are infused with compassion, simplicity and spirit.
Angela is grateful for the many teachers and mentors along her life journey. She finished her 1st 200 hour teacher training at It's Yoga in San Francisco in 2005. She has completed Richard Freeman's month long Teacher's Intensive. Angela is inspired by the prenatal / postnatal training received with both Sarah Longacre and De West. She continues to study regularly with Rod Stryker and William Prottengeier.
Angela splits her time teaching yoga, attending births, traveling colorful places and creating beauty through art, music, movement & gardening. She is committed to a lifetime of learning and practice.
