Rachel Kamin

Rachel took her first yoga class in 2006, several months after having a baby, and immediately liked how it felt to be reconnected to her body. Beyond physical benefits, she immediately became aware of how the practice of yoga provided tools to deal with a stressful corporate job and a busy home life. After just a few classes, she was hooked.
 
Rachel is a graduate of Devanadi Yoga’s 500-hr teacher training, Dr. Indu Arora’s rigorous yoga therapy program, Michelle Pietrzak-Wegner’s Yin Yoga certification, the Himalayan Institutes’ Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist program, and is also a Thai Yoga Bodywork practitioner.
 
Rachel teaches Vinyasa and Yin yoga. Her meditative class style asks students to observe their practice on all levels (physical, mental, emotional, and pranic). Building this personal introspection allows for self-discovery, growth and ultimately self-realization. Rachel’s clear cueing and skill at offering pose variations makes her classes accessible for all levels of students.
 
When she’s not teaching, Rachel loves spending time with her family, learning various healing modalities, cooking, reading, and taking her dog for walks.
